How long does a car battery replacement take?
Our mobile vans reach most Dubai zones in 25 to 45 minutes, and outer areas such as Jebel Ali or Dubai South in 45 to 60 minutes. Once the technician arrives, a standard battery change takes 15 to 20 minutes, including the before-and-after load test. Cars that need an AGM battery and BMS registration, such as most BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Range Rover models, take 30 to 45 minutes because the new battery has to be coded to the car.
Do you replace car batteries at home, at the office or in basement parking?
Yes. Most of our battery replacements happen in villa driveways, apartment and office basements, mall car parks and at the roadside. Send your location pin on WhatsApp with the building name, parking level and bay number, and the technician will call you on arrival. There is no extra charge for basement access, valet areas or difficult parking, and you pay the same fitted price in Dubai Marina as you do in Mirdif.
Which car battery brand is best for Dubai heat?
Summer under-bonnet temperatures in Dubai shorten battery life, so the right technology matters more than the logo. For daily Japanese and Korean cars, Amaron Hi-Life Pro and Solite are reliable, good-value choices. For start-stop systems and European cars, an AGM battery such as the Bosch S5A is usually required. Does my car need BMS registration after a battery change?
Many modern cars do. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover and Range Rover use a Battery Management System that adjusts charging to the battery's age and type. If a new battery is not registered, the alternator keeps charging it like the old worn one, which shortens its life and can disable start-stop. Our vans carry the diagnostic tools to register the new battery on the spot, and coding is included in the fitted price.
Should I replace my battery or just get a jump start?
Not every flat battery needs replacing. If your battery is under 18 months old, the car sat unused for a few weeks, or the lights were left on overnight, a jump start and a free load test may be all you need. If the battery is three or more years old, cranks slowly, or has needed more than one jump start in a month, replacement is the safer choice. Our jump start service costs AED 99, and the technician tests the battery before recommending anything.
What warranty do I get on a new car battery?
Every battery we fit carries the manufacturer's warranty of up to 18 months, depending on the brand and range you choose. You receive a warranty card when the job is finished, and if the battery fails within the warranty period we come back to your location to test and replace it. Can I pay with Tabby or Tamara, and do you take the old battery?
Yes to both. You can split any battery over AED 300 into four interest-free payments with Tabby or Tamara, or pay by card, cash or bank transfer when the job is done. Your old battery is removed and recycled through a licensed UAE partner at no charge, so you do not have to store or dispose of it yourself.
