2. What Data We Collect

We only collect the personal data needed to deliver our service and keep basic records:

  • Contact data: name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address.
  • Service data: vehicle make, model, year, registration (plate), and service location (for dispatch).
  • Transaction data: fitted price, battery brand/serial number, warranty period, payment method (we do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by regulated UAE payment providers).
  • Communication data: WhatsApp chat history with us, customer-service emails, call recordings (where legally notified).
  • Website data: non-personal usage analytics (page views, device type, referrer) via cookies and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following legitimate business purposes:

  • Dispatching a technician to your location and delivering the service.
  • Providing quotes, invoices and warranty records.
  • Honouring warranty claims (we need to be able to match your battery serial number to your contact details).
  • Responding to enquiries via WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • Occasional service reminders (for example, approaching end of warranty).
  • Improving our website and service quality.

4. Legal Basis

We rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract (to deliver the battery service you request); (b) legitimate interest (warranty records, fraud prevention, service improvement); (c) consent (for any non-essential marketing communications, where you can opt out at any time).

5. Third Parties We Share Data With

We never sell your data. We only share it with trusted third parties who help us deliver the service:

  • Battery manufacturers / UAE distributors (for warranty claim processing).
  • Payment providers (Visa, Mastercard processors, Tabby, Tamara) — for transactions only.
  • Recovery partners (flatbed providers), only when you request recovery service.
  • UAE-licensed battery recycling partner (for old battery disposal — no personal data attached).
  • Website analytics (aggregated, non-personal).

6. Data Retention

Warranty-linked records are kept for the warranty up to 18 months period plus an additional 12 months for potential after-sale support. Financial records are retained for 7 years to comply with UAE accounting regulations. WhatsApp chats are kept for a rolling up to 18 months. You may request earlier deletion of non-mandatory records (see Your Rights).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the website work and basic analytics cookies to understand which pages drivers find useful. We do not use cross-site advertising tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site.

8. Data Security
