Cadillac Touch Screen Repair in Dubai: CUE Screen Replacement
The Cadillac User Experience (CUE) system arrived around 2013 and its capacitive touch panel is the single most common electrical complaint we see on Cadillacs from that era. The good news: in most cases the fix is the touch layer, not the whole head unit.
Unresponsive or ghost-touching CUE screen
The touch-sensitive film on early CUE units separates from the glass in heat. Symptoms include taps that register in the wrong place, menus opening by themselves or no response at all. Replacing the touch panel restores normal control without reprogramming the radio in most cases.
Cadillac SRX screen replacement
Second-generation SRX owners from 2013 onwards often see spider-web cracking spreading from a corner of the CUE glass. We fit a new touch panel or complete display, refit the trim without broken clips and test the reversing camera, navigation and Bluetooth before handover.
Cadillac XTS touch screen replacement

Cadillac Repair in Dubai Without the Agency Wait
Many Cadillacs in Dubai are now out of their factory cover and on their second or third owner, and that is usually when people start searching for a Cadillac service garage rather than the agency. Our Al Quoz team works on these cars every week, and because we are an independent multi-brand workshop we can offer a repair-or-replace choice that a parts counter often cannot, such as a new CUE touch layer instead of a full radio assembly.
A Cadillac is a heavy car built around a lot of electronics, so we start every booking with a full-module scan rather than just reading engine codes. That matters on these cars: a flat 12V battery can throw infotainment, park-assist and suspension warnings all at once, and replacing parts before ruling out low voltage wastes money. How much does Cadillac repair cost in Dubai?
Every job starts with an AED 150 diagnostic scan, which reads the infotainment, body, chassis and powertrain modules rather than just engine codes. Once we know what has failed, you receive an itemised quote listing labour and each part, marked as genuine GM or OE-spec. Nothing is ordered or fitted until you approve that quote, so the scan fee is the only cost you are committed to when the car is collected. Payment can be split through Tabby or Tamara.
Can you repair a Cadillac CUE touch screen instead of replacing the whole unit?
Usually, yes. On most CUE-equipped Cadillacs the failing part is the capacitive touch film bonded to the glass, not the radio module behind it. Replacing that panel restores normal touch control and costs far less than a complete head unit. We do confirm it with a module scan first, because a small number of cars have a genuine fault in the infotainment unit or its wiring, and fitting a panel to those would not solve anything.
Do you do Cadillac SRX screen replacement in Dubai?
We do. The 2013-onward SRX is one of the models we see most often for cracked or delaminated CUE screens, usually with cracks spreading from a corner after a few summers. The panel is replaced with the dashboard trim removed carefully so clips are not broken, and we test the reversing camera, navigation and Bluetooth pairing before the car goes back. Is XTS touch screen replacement the same job as on the SRX?
The principle is the same but the dashboard is different. The XTS mounts its CUE screen on a motorised storage door, so removal takes longer and we also check that door mechanism while it is exposed. If the door is jammed or noisy, we quote for it separately at that point, which avoids paying for the dash to be stripped a second time later on. Most XTS panel jobs are finished within a working day once the correct part for your model year is confirmed.
Why does my Escalade tick at idle?
On the 6.2 V8 used in many Escalades, a ticking or tapping noise, sometimes with a misfire code, often comes from a lifter on one of the cylinders that switches off to save fuel. Low oil level or the wrong oil grade can make it worse. We use live data to see which cylinder is affected and inspect the valvetrain before quoting, since an exhaust manifold leak can sound very similar and is a much smaller job.
Can you service my Cadillac instead of the service centre?
Yes. We carry out scheduled maintenance on Escalade, SRX, XTS, ATS, CTS and the newer XT and CT models using oil to the GM dexos specification and filters that match the original part. The service is stamped, the oil-life monitor reset and all work itemised on the invoice, which keeps your service history readable for a future buyer. As an independent workshop we are not part of the Cadillac dealer network.
Do you collect Cadillacs from anywhere in Dubai?
Collection and return are free across Dubai, from the Palm and Marina out to Mirdif and Dubai Silicon Oasis. A driver brings the car to our Al Quoz workshop on Al Manara Street, and you get updates and photos on WhatsApp while it is with us. If the car will not start or is unsafe to drive, recovery can be arranged instead, and we confirm the timing when you book.
How can I pay for a Cadillac repair?
We accept cash and debit or credit cards, and larger jobs such as a full CUE display or air suspension work can be split into four interest-free payments with Tabby or Tamara. Payment is taken only after you have seen the finished work, and the invoice lists every part fitted on your Cadillac along with the workshop warranty covering parts and labour.
