All 2018+ Cadillacs share the GM GDS2 diagnostic platform with Chevrolet and GMC. Battery registration is mandatory on every AGM fitment — the car learns the new battery's age and sets the appropriate charging profile. Skip this step and the alternator either over-charges a fresh AGM or under-charges it after a few weeks. Does my Cadillac need battery coding?
Yes on all 2018+ models. The GDS2 diagnostic platform needs the new AGM serial and capacity written to the body control module so charging is balanced correctly.
Where is the battery on an Escalade?
It varies by generation. GMT-K2 Escalades (2015-2020) have the main AGM under the rear passenger seat — we lift the seat base cleanly. Current T1 platform Escalades (2021+) have it in the engine bay, passenger side.
My Lyriq is locked out with a dead 12V — help?
Yes. Lyriq's 12V auxiliary AGM handles all wake-up functions. If it dies the car will not unlock or respond to the key.
Can you do fleet Escalade coverage?
Yes. Several corporate fleets of Escalades and executive CT5s run with us. Volume pricing, monthly invoicing, and a shared spreadsheet of installation dates per VIN so you know when each battery is due for preventive replacement.
Is ACDelco really the best AGM for Cadillac?
