About ACDelco

ACDelco is the in-house parts brand of General Motors, established in 1916 through the merger of the "AC" (Albert Champion) spark plug company and the "Delco" (Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company) electrical-parts business. GM has owned the brand ever since and uses ACDelco as the OE battery supplier for Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick and Hummer. In the UAE, ACDelco has been the default OE battery on GCC-spec GMC and Chevrolet pickups, SUVs and sedans for decades.

The range we stock runs from ACDelco Silver (the standard calcium-calcium line), to ACDelco Gold (higher CCA and reserve capacity, best for large V8 SUVs in UAE summer), to ACDelco Professional AGM (for Cadillac Escalade, late-model Corvette, and anything with start-stop or high electronic load). The plates are built for sustained high-temperature operation and the cases are thicker than most Asian rivals, which is why ACDelco is often chosen for Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol even though those cars are not GM products.

ACDelco pricing sits between Amaron (cheaper, Asian-car focused) and Varta (pricier, European-car focused). For American and Japanese 4x4s in Dubai, it is usually the right balance of cost and longevity.

Up to 18-Month ACDelco Warranty

Every ACDelco battery we fit carries a manufacturer warranty up to 18 months covering manufacturing defects, internal short circuits and premature capacity loss. We handle claims directly on-site. If the battery fails load testing within the warranty window and the failure is not caused by a bad alternator or parasitic drain, we replace it on the same day at no cost.

Not covered: physical damage, sustained deep discharge, incorrect fitment or alternator-related failures. We always load-test the alternator at fitting, which catches charging-system faults before they affect the new battery.
