Does my Ford F-150 need an AGM battery?
2020-onwards F-150 models with auto start-stop and the 3.5L EcoBoost require AGM (typically Group 65 AGM). Pre-2020 F-150s without start-stop take a standard flooded Group 65.
Do you service Mustang GT and Shelby models?
Yes. Mustang GT 5.0, Mach 1, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 all take a high-CCA Group 96R or Group 65 battery. For tuned or track-prep cars we recommend 850+ CCA options.
My Explorer has start-stop — what battery does it need?
2020-onwards Explorer models with start-stop use Group H7 AGM around 80-95Ah. After fitment we run IDS or FORScan to register the new battery with the BCM, which prevents the intelligent alternator from overcharging it.
Can you fit a Bronco battery at a desert campsite or off-road parking?
Yes — as long as the vehicle is accessible by our service van. Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L use Group 48 AGM H6. We bring the battery, torque tools, memory saver, and diagnostic tablet.
How does a mobile Ford battery fit compare with the dealer?
