About Solite
Solite is manufactured by Hyundai Sonnak — now part of the Hyundai Mobis group — and has been the in-house battery of the Hyundai Motor Group since 1978. If you bought a Hyundai, Kia or Genesis new in the UAE over the past fifteen years, it very likely left the showroom with a Solite battery under the bonnet. The brand is less well-known in the aftermarket than Amaron or Exide, but the technology and the supply chain are exactly the same as what Hyundai fits at the factory.
For UAE conditions, Solite's calcium-calcium grid and sealed maintenance-free case handle 45C+ under-bonnet temperatures without water loss. Solite runs a dedicated hot-climate production line for Middle East and Southeast Asia markets, which is why the DIN44 through DIN90 range we stock is specifically GCC-specification rather than cool-climate European spec. Typical Dubai lifespan is three to four years — the same ballpark as Amaron, and notably better than generic budget batteries.
Price positioning: Solite sits about AED 20 below Amaron across the range, making it the cheapest OE-grade option for Korean cars. For non-Korean Asian sedans we are equally happy to fit it, though if the car originally came with a different OE brand (e.g. Panasonic on Toyota) we usually suggest Amaron or Exide as the more traditional pairing.

Up to 18-Month Solite Warranty
Every Solite battery we fit comes with a manufacturer warranty up to 18 months covering manufacturing defects, internal short circuits and premature capacity loss. Claims handled on-site — bring the card, we load-test, and swap the same day if the battery is at fault.
Not covered: physical damage, sustained deep discharge, incorrect fitment or alternator-related failures. At fitting we load-test the alternator to catch charging-system issues before they damage the new Solite.
