Does Bentley really need battery coding?
Yes. Every Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga from 2013 onwards uses VW Group energy management and needs VAS or VCDS battery registration.
Where is the battery on a Flying Spur?
Flying Spur carries the main battery under the boot floor, similar to Audi A8 and Panamera. There is a jump-start post in the engine bay but the battery itself is boot-mounted.
Bentayga uses what battery spec?
Bentayga shares MLB Evo with Q8, Urus and Cayenne — Varta AGM H9 around 105Ah. Boot-mounted, VCDS coding mandatory. Bentayga Hybrid additionally has a 12V aux AGM.
Can you fit at my villa without the driver-service team being present?
Yes. Many of our Bentley fitments are arranged through a concierge or estate manager — we attend at an agreed time, complete the work, send photos of the fitted AGM and warranty card, and email the invoice for settlement.
My Continental GT has been idle for two months — battery or recovery?
We diagnose first. Bentleys that sit for months in Dubai heat often have an AGM that is salvageable with a CTEK conditioning cycle rather than replacement. If the load test confirms end of life, we fit a new Varta.
