How Our Car Battery Warranty in Dubai Works

Claims under a car battery warranty in Dubai are often made unnecessarily complicated. Ours is simple: if the battery we fitted fails within up to 18 months due to a manufacturing defect, we come to your location and swap it free of charge. You do not need to tow the car, drop the battery off at a shop, or fill out paperwork at the dealership.

Every battery carries a physical warranty card handed over at the time of fitting, with the fit date, car registration, battery serial number and warranty expiry clearly printed. We also keep a digital copy against your WhatsApp number, so if you lose the card we can still pull up your record in seconds.

Cover of up to 18 months applies across the five brands we stock: Amaron, Bosch, Exide, Solite and Optima. The exact period depends on the brand and battery model, and it is printed on your card and confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. Commercial fleet vehicles doing high daily mileage are covered on a pro-rata basis after month 12 — we will spell out the terms clearly on your WhatsApp quote.

What Is a Battery Warranty?

A battery warranty is the manufacturer's promise that the battery is free of defects in materials and workmanship for a set period from the day it is fitted. If it fails because of a fault inside the battery, such as a shorted cell, a broken internal connection or a leaking seal, it is replaced. What a warranty does not do is promise that a battery will last a certain number of years whatever happens to it: wear from heat, deep discharge or a faulty charging system is not a manufacturing defect, which is why we test the whole system before deciding a claim.

The warranty period starts on the fit date on your battery warranty card, not the date the battery was made. We only fit fresh, date-stamped stock, so you are not losing months of cover to time on a shelf.

Amaron, Bosch, Exide and Solite Battery Warranty

Each brand sets its own warranty period for each battery range, which is why we say "up to 18 months" rather than one figure for everything. Your Amaron battery warranty period, Solite battery warranty, Exide battery warranty or Bosch battery warranty is written on the card we hand you, alongside the serial number. For an Amaron battery warranty check, send us a photo of the Amaron battery warranty card or simply the phone number you booked with, and we will confirm the fit date and the cover left. If your battery was bought and fitted somewhere else, including a Varta or any other brand, its warranty sits with that seller; we are happy to load-test it for you, but the claim goes back to them.

How a Claim Works at Your Location

Because we fit batteries where the car is parked, we handle claims the same way. Our technician comes to your home, office or the roadside, load-tests the battery, checks the alternator output and looks for any parasitic drain. If the battery has a defect, it is swapped on the spot, coded where the car needs it, and you get a new card for the balance of the original cover. If the battery is fine and something else is draining it, we tell you what we found so you are not paying for a battery you do not need. Have the warranty card or booking number, the car keys and access to the bonnet or boot ready, and the visit is usually done within the hour.

What Can Void a Car Battery Warranty

Most claims are straightforward, but a few things take a battery outside its warranty: someone else removing or refitting it, a casing that has been opened or a serial label that has been scratched off, physical damage, and charging it with an unsuitable charger. Running a battery flat again and again, or loading it with winches and big sound systems beyond its rating, causes damage that the maker treats as misuse. Fitting the correct type matters too, which is why we always fit EFB or AGM in start-stop cars that need them.

How Dubai Heat Affects Battery Life

Heat, not cold, is what ages a car battery. In a Dubai summer the engine bay can run far hotter than the air outside, and that heat speeds up corrosion of the internal plates and dries out the electrolyte. A battery that might last four or five years in a mild climate often manages two to three here, and it usually fails suddenly, on a hot morning after weeks of seeming fine. That gradual ageing is not covered by any battery warranty, but you can slow it down: park in shade or a covered car park when you can, avoid leaving the car unused for weeks, keep the terminals clean and tight, and ask us for a free load test before summer, especially once the battery is past its first year.
